AWANA

Our AWANA meetings consist of three segments: game time, handbook time, and council time. During game time, boys and girls play games on the unique AWANA Game Square. In handbook time, children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities ranging from patriotism to community service. They earn awards based on their work. The final segment, council time, includes lessons based on Christian principles

About AWANA

The acronym, AWANA, comes from the first letters of "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," found in 2 Timothy 2:15.

This highly organized, international ministry has been adopted to fit the unique needs of Las Brisas Bible Fellowship. Leaders develop friendships with their groups and assist them in their understanding and memorization of Scripture.
