Music Ministry

Corporate worship is intended to be diverse and exciting, while remaining reverent to our Lord and Savior. As individuals, we promote a laying aside of personal preference for the greater good of the church body's worship experience. The Music Ministry requires a personal commitment in time and expertise with a sacrificial heart for service. Musicians must demonstrate an ability to flow with the group as well as technical ability. We meet once a week for rehearsal and on Sunday mornings at 8 am. Interested parties should contact the Worship Leader for qualifying criteria.

Mission Statement

God has given us a vision for worship ministry. Our goal is to have this vision support and amplify the mission and purpose of the church. Since God calls individuals to fulfill His vision, we believe that He has collectively called every member of the Worship Ministry to help realize the vision He has given Las Brisas Bible Fellowship.

Therefore, our mission statement is intended to keep each area of this ministry focused toward our similar goals; to advance and conduct authentic and God-honoring, life-changing worship in a Biblically faithful and culturally relevant way. Through this we draw the body of Christ to a close relationship with God and fellowship with believers, allowing God's Spirit to lead us in evangelizing and ministering to the world.

Adult Choir

Adult Choir is an excellent opportunity for our musically gifted members to exercise their gifts in a more casual, less time intensive manner. This group gathers twice a year for Christmas and Easter programs, typically 8 weeks before the event. Rehearsal time is minimal at once per week and relies more upon independent study and familiarization of the selected pieces via electronic and print media.

Media Team

The Media Team is our critical support group. These individuals are lead by an experienced and talented sound technician and are integral to our proclamation of the WORD. Interested parties should have an ear for music as well as an aptitude for balanced instrumentation. Comfort with managing multiple tasks and attention to detail, as well as electronics, would be a requirement beyond a time commitment for rehearsals and events.

Children's Choir

Children's Choir is our way of training up God's next generation of Worship leaders and participants, while ensuring they become familiar with the experience of authentic worship in a diverse and dynamic manner. Typically, the children's choir is broken into two segments by age and rehearses separately during Sunday evening gatherings and prior to Sunday school during Children's worship. Our Children's choirs are periodically called upon to proclaim the gospel message in song during the Sunday service and special events.
