Las Brisas Schools

Our mission is to prepare children to function as successful adults who live a life that glorifies God in a world that neither embraces nor recognizes the value of such convictions. We will accomplish this mission by:
 

• Educating the student from the perspective of a Christian World View (2 Timothy 3:16,17). A biblical framework will be integrated in all content areas, social/cultural issues, and values/moral education.
• Educating the student as a whole person by providing a program that develops and celebrates the potential of God’s fully created being in the areas of spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional growth and development.
• Educating the student with the goal of excellence in all projects and tasks attempted for the purpose of becoming a testimony to our community.
• Educating the student with teachers and staff who hold the same beliefs and values by employing Christians who model the behaviors and lifestyles our school advocates. We employ people who are well-trained and are able to effectively communicate God’s truth. We employ people who value our children as precious gifts from God and are involved in their lives.

We desire to have a well-balanced Biblical and Academic Program. Curriculum areas include: Bible, Chapel, Language, Grammar, Literature, Reading, Phonics, Math, Health, Science, Social Studies, Geography, Penmanship, Physical Education, and Art. We have a school library available to our students. We are a member school in the largest association of Christian Schools in the world. Affiliation with ACSI allows us to tap their incredible resources, including materials and staff training.

Parents are the backbone of our program. All parents are required to contribute 20 hours of their time per year per family. Our students are required to wear uniforms, which may be purchased through the Dennis Uniform Company.

 Las Brisas Christian Preschool, established in January of 1993, is a ministry of Las Brisas Bible Fellowship. We provide a Biblically integrated curricular program that meets the spiritual, emotional, academic, physical, and social needs of each child. Our mission is to develop, nurture, and equip students to positively impact their world for Jesus Christ. We are members of the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI). We are licensed by the State Department of Health and Social Welfare, and annually inspected by Community Care Licensing.

Our Christian Preschool is equipped and staffed to give the best possible care for children whose parents are interested in an enrichment program. Children who are three (3) (turning four (4) during the calendar school year), four (4), or five (5) years of age are eligible for admission. In addition, all children must be completely potty-trained; this includes no pull-ups at nap time. It is our goal to provide a loving and caring atmosphere - a place where you will feel safe and secure about leaving your child. We will help your child learn through creative work and play. Each child is encouraged to share his/her uniqueness with other children and adults. We offer your child an educational/developmental program that will prepare him/her for future schoolwork. We believe that children "learn through play". Our classrooms are organized in a way that provides an atmosphere that encourages independent discovery, exploration, socialization, and skill development. Daily, school-wide chapels provide the Biblical foundation for the entire preschool experience
